THE DRAMA OVER TIENANMEN SQUARE THIS COMING WEEK
June 1st, 2024 here were are and on Tuesday the 35th Anniversary of the events in Tiananmen Square in Beijing events being used in this day and age to drive a narrative hostile to China.
In 1989 a burst of outrage but in the end business as usual with China the money was made the business conducted.
Before China was 'opened up' President Richard Nixon was saying China had to be brought into the community of nations.
And China was opened up before and after the events of June 4, 1989.
A lot of money was made doing business with China in spite of its authoritarian system,
To be outraged over what happened in Tiananmen Square seems so self-righteous hypocritical don't let the propaganda take you to a dark angry place.

What about weight in my life?
I weighed 160 when I graduated high school at the age of 18.
At the age of 48 I was 220 pounds heck Bill Clinton's weight in his heyday as POTUS.
I got into the 12-step rooms heck I lost 40 pounds over a decade went down to 180. Working 60 to 70 hours a week probably helped a little.
I picked up some weight in recent years got to 200 but just the other day I saw 198 on the scale.
Maybe all this stuff going on recently is having a good impact on me.
When it comes to sex heck folks starting with myself all have sinned in thoughts, words and deeds?
Thankful, deeply thankful for the God of My Understanding who forgives me and gives me in my surrender to Him the power to change my heart or in one classic word:

Thank You Lord I ate breakfast at home when I eat meals on the road which I did the rest of the day sometimes my body has issues like dehydration.
Part of the day a "Ninth Step" meeting which I was grateful to have coming clean with people in my past.
