LIGHTING A BACKFIRE TO PUT OUT A WILDFIRE: A STORY OF JANUARY 6TH AND EVENTS LEADING TO IT
The full and complete details are far from known but when the truth about January 6th is fully revealed and it must be fully revealed the overarching purpose of J6 was to shut down President Donald Trump and his supporters.
Partisan Republicans beginning to scratch away at the events of January 6th seem to want to paint the usual good guy-bad guy picture of Democrat-affiliated law enforcement like the US Capitol Police or the Washington DC Metropolitan Police being the "bad guys" of J6.
No doubt they were bad guys.
But behind them resources of the Department of Homeland Security and the Federal Bureau of Investigation operating through a vast network of informants and undercover agents.
DHS a post 9/11 creation bringing federal law enforcement power to a new level but the FBI's history of spying on various groups deemed "Extremist" is clear.
In the 1960's the FBI monitored all kind of groups from Anti-Vietnam War Leftists to the American Nazi Party, the Civil Rights Movement and Ku Klux Klan.
Individuals spied on the famous of which was Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. the FBI collecting extensive mostly unrevealed files including audio tapes of many sexual encounters in hotel rooms.
The FBI King files sealed by a federal judge until 2027 it will be interesting to see what happens when we reach that point.
But the historical record makes it abundantly clear that the FBI Tradition was to spy on all groups all sides and this has continued until the present day.
One story I recall from my youth a rally called for Victory in the Vietnam War led by Dr. Carl McIntire "Right-Wing" preacher who made Richard Nixon's "enemies list" for opposing the Nixon-Kissinger "Peace With Honor" plan.
The night before the rally in Washington the platform approached by American Nazis in uniform with swastika armbands seeking to take it over. Theological students kept them away.
Who sent the Nazis the FBI was the answer that a biographer of Carl McIntire came up with and it makes total sense to me. The FBI had this group thoroughly infiltrated.
The incident was an obvious attempt to discredit the movement seeking military victory in Vietnam in the tradition of World Wars I and II by painting it as "Nazi" and "Extremist".
Before J6 the DHS and FBI were operating in the context of the Extreme State of Emergency declared for COVID in March of 2020 and the violence that followed the death of George Floyd during the summer of 2020.
Both events triggered a heightened level of activity against "Domestic Extremism" and or "Domestic Terrorism".
One thing we must consider deeply consider is what did DHS and FBI decide to do since opposition to COVID lockdowns and mandates intersected with grassroots supporters of President Trump.
First there can be no doubt that both agencies were active in the spring of 2020 considering COVID lockdown-mask order opponents as an extremist threat.
But then George Floyd died at the end of May 2020 and all hell broke loose President Trump demanding action against the Left but what did these agencies choose to do at that point?
Did they decide that the situation required using the "Extremist" supporters of President Trump against the "Extremist" supporters of George Floyd?
Or in the environment of these different groups taking to the streets to protest did DHS and FBI figure they should try to Astroturf a Turf War between MAGA and Antifa.
Either way there can be no doubt that DHS and FBI operatives were working their way into the ranks of COVID mandate opponents-MAGA in the spring and summer of 2020.
Getting to the matter of George Floyd riots the much remembered burning of a Minneapolis police precinct happened with police abandoning the building not choosing to defend it allowing the burning to happen.
Just like at 230 pm on January 6th a declaration of the police line being broken was made and crowds were allowed into the Capitol building after some 90 minutes of clashes outside of it not reported on by the Mainstream Media only shown on online video streams later taken down.
Apparently all that was a buildup of the crowd agitation and enticement to enter "the arena".
It was after this that the wall-to-wall Mainstream Media reporting on events at the Capitol began selling the narrative that would come to be one of a "Riot" and an "Insurrection".
The beginnings of January 6th could be seen in October of 2013 as a government shutdown was underway closing national monuments in Washington DC.
Confrontational moments at the edge of crowds being addressed by speakers like Governor Sarah Palin and Senators Mike Lee and Ted Cruz on Sunday October 13, 2013.
Some folks who knows who they were removed barricades closing off barriers placed at memorials because of the government shutdown. Those individuals took the barriers to the White House and left them there...
Barrier removal is part of the scenario that played out on January 6th at the US Capitol.
Those barriers dumped outside Barack Obama's White House an activity that could have discredited the purpose of the protest to oppose the closing of veteran's memorials by the Obama Administration.
Was this an early pre-J6 example of an attempt by government or political elements to discredit a public protest?
Involved in promoting the trucker-veteran march on Washington DC was Pete Santilli and "Media Matters" on the Left took an interest in him back in October of 2013...
Santilli a personality who would emerge at the Bunkerville Standoff near Bundy Ranch in 2014 and the Oregon Standoff led by Ammon Bundy in early 2016.
Santilli would be arrested in connection with both protests but have his charges dismissed in Oregon while cutting a plea deal for his involvement in the Bunkerville events.
The leading personalities in both protest cases would end up unscathed.
The leaders of the Bunkerville Standoff would see federal charges dismissed due to prosecutorial misconduct (withholding evidence proving their innocence)
In Oregon not guilty verdicts for the leaders in a trial where federal informants involvement in the situation was exposed (15+ informants). One such informant Fabio Minoggio who used the alias "John Killman".
Killman was involved in getting people protesting at the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge over the treatment of ranchers Dwight and Steven Hammond (later pardoned by President Donald Trump) to participate in firearms training.
The shooting of the firearms recorded on video for use by federal prosecutors at trial...
Entrapment is something we associate with January 6th getting people into the Capitol into a confrontation where they would be killed, injured and arrested.
Among the dead Ashli Babbitt the Air Force veteran led to believe she was in a combat situation by the false situation created around her at the Capitol between 1 and 230 pm.
On January 26, 2016 LaVoy Finicum would lose his life during the Oregon Standoff protest after a "felony traffic stop" was initiated under FBI direction with Oregon State Police active participants...
As mentioned earlier the FBI informant Fabio Minoggio pushed firearms training among the protesters in Oregon to create the notion of the violent threat that would justify the "felony traffic stop" leading to Finicum's death.
When it comes to the notion of entrapment lets go forward into 2017 President Donald Trump in the White House and the "Unite the Right" event staged in Charlottesville, Virginia in August.
This event drew in people who would be entrapped in a guantlet of Leftists the event descending into violence and panic where Leftists would be dead and injured and the Rightist James Alex Fields would be incarnated as a 'violent extremist'.
I link to the Wikipedia article and what stands out to me is the picture with the Khaki Pants that we have noted in the "Patriot Front" incidents in more recent time linked to the FBI.
The whole event used to embarrass President Trump has the smell of a staged operation and an incitement.
The various groups with nasty sounding names sucked in to Charlottesville that weekend sucked in through their thorough infiltration by FBI agents-informants IMHO...
Reflecting back on this event one sees the "Right" brought to a place where the "Left" could fight with them.
And by the time we got to 2020 things came together with the COVID Mandate-George Floyd protests the Election Campaign etc etc. one wonders if Left-Right fights were being promoted.
Trump campaign rallies were staged using convoys of cars and trucks with Trump flags.
One such convoy moved across Oregon on a Portland to Salem circuit on Saturday August 29, 2020.
Then a group of people resembling the kind we saw on January 6th at the US Capitol roared into downtown Portland paintballing the Leftist George Floyd protesters besieging the federal courthouse.
Shortly thereafter a member of the "Patriot Prayer" group gunned down by a self-described Antifa perp who would later be killed by police who surrounded him he died in a hail of gunfire.
Who sent those J6 looking people into Portland to attack the Leftists to begin with? Were federal operatives (FBI-DHS) opting to use these people as unofficial riot control in Portland?
The one thing I remember here in the area of southcentral Pennsylvania where I live was that in the summer and fall of 2020 those Trump supporters drove their trucks around adorned with flags just like the folks did in Portland who attacked the Leftists.
These folks looking like folks we would see at the US Capitol on January 6th would on occasion go through parking lots in shopping areas honking their horns.
Were they supporting President Trump or were they being used to intimidate people who might otherwise participate in protests related to George Floyd's death?
Once the election came and went the COVID restrictions were back on the front burner the "right arm" of Vice-President Mike Pence, head of the White House COVID Task Force, was in action.
Dr. Deborah Birx moving around the country calling for lockdowns bans on holiday social gatherings at Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Democrat and Republican governors rolling out those orders.
Protests and demonstrations opposing COVID restrictions underway.
And there were incidents some that smell like false flags some that smell of what would happen on January 6th.
On Sunday December 13th, 2020 a second weekend of Anti-COVID Tyranny Protests near the Bainbridge Island, Washington home of Democrat Governor Jay Inslee and this report:
"Activist Kelli Stewart says that provocateurs showed up attempting to move the protest in a less peaceful direction"
The You Tube video posted by Stewart quickly forced off the platform but her message was one of people claiming to support President Trump playing his speeches and saying "More needs to be done".
They were trying to get the Anti-COVID Tyranny protesters to join them.
On Monday December 14th this story:
"PRESIDENT TRUMP ANNOUNCING THE RESIGNATION OF ATTORNEY GENERAL WILLIAM BARR THIS EVENING...BARR LEAVING HIS POST DECEMBER 23RD"
A very significant announcement In My Humble Opinion as forces of the Justice Department moved forward with their plans William Barr distancing himself from what was to come on January 6th.
But Monday December 21st, 2020 would bring us an event that should have raised some sort of alarm messages sent out about "Patriots Storming The Capitol"
No not the one in Washington but the Oregon State Capitol in Salem.
It involved a small group of people but the people there put out messages calling on "Patriots" to join them.
Fortunately folks didn't fall into this J6 style trap there was promotion of the protest in the days before but also a warning from People's Rights activist Ammon Bundy.
Bundy spoke to a Peoples Rights meeting in Idaho in the week before this incident.
Video of that meeting later taken down but his message as I recall it was a warning about things to come like this event at the Oregon State Capitol and he made a reference to a protest in Washington on January 6th telling people to beware.
As a result of the incident a Republican member of the Oregon House ended up being forced out of office because he opened a door to allow protesters in.
On December 26th I put up an "Unplugged" post giving my sense of where President Trump was coming from ahead of January 6th even excerpting from "The Art of the Comeback" by Donald J. Trump my impression in part said this:
"Perhaps this will help us all to understand the situation on the ground with President Trump right now who I sense is in political campaign mode working to keep up his popularity and viability for the days ahead..whatever those days may hold.
He wants his supporters to believe in him even if he ends up leaving the White House on January 20th..."
For President Trump the days ahead including January 6th were days of campaigning of politics of maintaining his momentum and popularity making his case about a stolen election.
He wasn't doing anything other than that in his own powerful sucking the air out of the room style knocking his opponents figuratively and literally into silence running circles around them.
If his opponents chose to be afraid or intimidated it was their choice.
For the Democrats Trump was someone who had to be "taken out" to be "neutralized" and they had friends in the Republican Party with them in that quest.
On Monday January 4th, 2021 the Republican Governor of Utah Spencer Cox a supporter of the Christmas COVID restrictions in Utah pushed by Dr, Deborah Birx was inaugurated.
But he was inaugurated in a private rural setting in southern Utah outside of Salt Lake City with protesters kept at a distance.
And here is how it was reported on this blog:
"Ominous words coming from the new Governor of Utah Republican Spencer Cox. Speaking at his inauguration in southern Utah today Cox said in part:
"...we are more divided than at any time in our lifetimes as the news is filled with civil unrest and protests including one outside this venue today...Hateful rhetoric dominates our political discourse...Conflict and passionate debate around ideas can be healthy, but contempt and contention will rot the souls of our nation and her people. And this division isn't just ugly or unfortunate it's dangerous"
Cox's comments appeared directly aimed at Pro-President Trump and Anti-Coronavirus Restriction protesters gathered outside his inauguration"...
And a final note from Tuesday January 5th as reported on this blog about what happened Monday January 4th:
"THE NATIONAL GUARD IS ACTIVATED IN WASHINGTON DC AHEAD OF TOMORROW'S PROTEST IN SUPPORT OF PRESIDENT TRUMP. THE PENTAGON APPROVING THE REQUEST OF THE CITY'S MAYOR"-CNN NEWS STORY MONDAY JANUARY 4TH, 2021
And so we come to January 6th and here is what is being called a "True Timeline" of events that day:
