But this week as I am on the road and have a mostly "canned" post for today I will remember the 50th anniversary of the Yom Kippur War as an event and as a personal experience.
This moment in time marked a turning away from the "Anti-Semitic Phase" of my life.

Looks like a trip to borrow more money IMHO.

50 YEARS AGO-THE YOM KIPPUR WAR
A new film recently came out about Israel's Prime Minister during that war Golda Meir.
Heck Helen Mirren wearing clothes in movies nowadays sad to say I "enjoyed" seeing her without them...
The movie bringing out the actual events of the war with some drama, conflict and tension added in the Hollywood tradition.
Golda Meir had a high-profile back then the Feminist (Feminazi) drama with "CIA associated" Gloria Steinem and others out there.
Heck comedy even got into act back around 1970 I bought a comedy album on cassette done by David Frye who was impersonating Richard Nixon.

Golda Meir actually had a serious relationship with US President Richard Nixon who was beginning to feel the heat from Watergate in October of 1973.
Nixon committed US military support to Israel big time a far cry from 1956 when then President Dwight Eisenhower shunned Israel as it waged war against Egypt alongside Britain and France seeking to re-take the Suez Canal.

The war starting on Saturday October 6th, 1973 it was morning here in the USA, afternoon in Israel on a day when Israel was shut down for Yom Kippur.
It was an attack during what I call the "Newsdump Period" Friday, Saturday a holiday no less.
Prime Minister Golda Meir mobilizing forces right before the attacks started but wanting the world to see Israel as the victim of an attack.
So Israel did not use its air force for pre-emptive strikes.

The Fake Argument About Cutting Legitimate Congressional Pay In Budget Disputes
The truth about our elected officials is that they enrich themselves on the side through corrupt means.
Cutting the legitimate pay for those who don't resort to corruption like Congressman Thomas Massie or Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene doesn't cut the pay of those other corrupt folks currently holding public office 95 percent plus of them IMHO.
So forget this phony argument about cutting pay for elected officials when they can't agree to borrow and waste more money down in Washington DC.
