As it stands now Emmanuel Macron cannot run for a third term as France's President in 2027.   After running as a finalist in the last two Presidential elections, Marine Le Pen seems poised for a win.

No political polls have been taken in France since earlier this year when Le Pen was shown defeating the incumbent Macron in a face-to-face matchup.

This week a new public opinion poll focused on the "favorability" of politicians and Marine Le Pen was described as a second-place finisher to former Premier and current Mayor of Le Havre Edouard Philippe.

This suggests that Mr. Philippe will be pumped up as the alternative to Le Pen for the 2027 election.

The unpopularity of President Emmanuel Macron confirmed last night at the Stade de France.
