More public opinion polling this week much of it focused on Marine Le Pen creating a full picture of her positives and negatives.
Almost half the population have a positive opinion of the National Rally leader in the National Assembly with a majority seeing her handling issues like crime and immigration well.
On other issues like Ukraine and Russia a majority don't see her handling them well.
Also, opinion polling indicating a majority of people think former Premier and current Mayor of Le Havre Edouard Philippe would be Le Pen in the 2027 presidential contest.

The Yellow Vests protests started when President Emmanuel Macron's government tried to tax gasoline and fuel under the guise of "Climate".
The public reacted reflexively to the threat to its purchasing power.
But now as virtually nobody protests in the streets the purchasing power of the French people is being slowly eroded especially in rural areas.
New numbers revealed by government research.
The cost of rising food and fuel costs impacting rural France the most 11.2 percent of the population there materially deprived last year as compared with 9 percent in 2020.
30 percent of those in single family households in France in a state of material deprivation last year up from 26 percent in 2022.
In 2021 6.3 percent of the French said they were unable to eat meat or fish every day. Last year that number 9.4 percent.
FRANCE'S PREMIER ELIZABETH BORNE ANNOUNCED TODAY THAT GASOLINE CAN BE SOLD AT A LOSS BY RETAILERS 'TEMPORARILY'.
AS SAUDI ARABIA AND OTHER OPEC+ NATIONS CONTINUE PRODUCTION CUTS THE PRICE OF A BARREL OF OIL NOW OVER 90 DOLLARS.
For now that's the story of France and the Yellow Vests.
