This week in the Netherlands a new government voted in nine months after the election and Forum for Democracy Thierry Baudet has his say:
"I thought: let me surprise friend and foe by telling me what I think is good about the coalition government", Forum for Democracy leader Baudet started his contribution to the debate, according to Chamber chairman Bergkamp just in time to get the floor. His praise was for the coalition plan to free up more money for attention to Dutch history.
Apart from that compliment, Baudet had few warm words for the plans of the coalition. He does not want "migration to continue", for "the EU to continue" and he does not believe that corona is a major problem for which vaccination is a solution.
"The whole world view, the whole view of history from which this comes: I do not share it. It is not my view. It is very crazy to wake up in a world in which you have been involved in for a long time. You thought it was more on less was in tune, but apparently I am not, because of the overhwelming part of the population votes to this," said Baudet. "It will do, we will follow"-

It was just over two weeks ago when Thierry Baudet forced the vote in the House of Representatives on compulsory vaccination in the Netherlands.
All politicians and political parties forced to show the people where they stood.
And compulsory vaccination for the Dutch people as a whole was voted down.
But next came legal action in the next week aimed at Thierry Baudet over Twitter posts opposing vaccine passports and coercion.
The posts made analogies to the Nazi occupation of Holland during World War II and policies like the wearing of the Yellow Star by Jews.
And surprisingly the lawsuit led to a summary and quick judgement just a few days ago Baudet ordered to take down the posts and not post any more material making such analogies.
He would be fined 25,000 euros ($28,097.50) for each instance if the posts remained.
In this summary judgement the judge claimed Baudet belittled the Holocaust by his posts making them Anti-Semitic.
And that is truly pathetic.

Remembering the year past and those departed many famous and noted names on that list for me a personal loss involving my mother.
This week Peter Hitchens reposted a ten year old remembrance of his late brother Christopher Hitchens at one point describing the last time he saw his brother in a hospital in Houston:
"I forgot, till I left. that I was wearing a ludicrous surgical mask and gown, and surgical gloves (I am still not sure whose benefit this was for, but it was obligatory) all the time I was sitting there..."
I spoke my final words to my mother pretty much like Peter Hitchens did to his brother ten years ago...

NEWSDUMP BREAKING NEWS: HARD CHRISTMAS LOCKDOWN IN THE NETHERLANDS TO COERCE VAXXING
The ax fell today in The Netherlands and as with all government measures the ultimate goal of them must be kept in mind.
That goal is to cajole, coerce and scare the population into more vaccination.
The new coalition government approved in Parliament the other day and here we go.
The new government economic liberals (free market capitalists) Prime Minister Mark Rutte's VVD and of course the social liberals of the D66 a party that was founded in 1966. Then the Christian Democrats the shell of the old Protestant and Catholic religious parties that once ruled The Netherlands together. And finally the "Left" side of Evangelical Christians the Christian Union. Those parties have 78 of 150 seats in the House of Representatives.
The press conference underway to announce a lockdown starting at 5 am local time Sunday (11 pm Eastern US time Saturday).
The rules of the lockdown only two visitors to a home at one time. Groups of people limited to four indoors and outdoors.
Four visitors to be allowed on certain dates around Christmas and on December 31st.
People rushed to get shopping done today in Holland ahead of the lockdown.
That meant they were all bunched close together in large groups.
The government pushing a big booster vaccination campaign at the news conference.
The lockdown means that only pharmacies and grocery stores will be open in The Netherlands until at least January 14th.
As the news conference was underway in The Hague the protest demonstration was going on outside...
