Mr. Macron saying such "defense council" meetings should happen every 15 days perhaps that means any harsh measures like mandatory vaccination are being pushed down the road to see where the numbers stand and to allow Christmas to pass.
There's a report from southwestern France about a police commander who was transferred over his refusal to be vaccinated against COVID. The commander of 150 gendarmes reassigned to a desk job in Paris.
The official line is that police who deal with the public must get the jabs.
