That historic event being commemorated with health freedom protests this weekend in Melbourne Saturday and Ballarat on Sunday.
These protests in Victoria state follow this week's passage of new "pandemic emergency" legislation sought by the Labor Party government of Premier Daniel Andrews.

THOUSANDS PROTEST IN AUCKLAND NEW ZEALAND TODAY
They started at the Auckland Domain then moved into the Newmarket shopping streets of the city.
The New Zealand Herald says there are two thousand of them.
Another massive health freedom protest in opposition to the vaccine mandate and vaccine passport policies of Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern of the Labor Party.
As the vaccine mandate came into force in New Zealand yesterday there was a protest on the South Island. Hundreds demonstrating at the southern end of that island in Invercargill...VIDEO LINK

For now that's the story of the protests today people continuing to march with the police around in Melbourne. The flag of Victoria I notice being displayed upside down.
No word yet as to whether the government in New Zealand is going after anyone for today's protest. They hauled Brian Tamaki and others into court before over previous protests. We shall see.
In Melbourne marchers moving to Southbank Boulevard around the ABC Headquarters that's the Australian Broadcasting Commission the main and in the opinion of many rather biased public broadcasting organization.
Australia also has another public broadcaster SBS (Special Broadcasting Services) which I think has an even more notorious reputation for bias in its reporting.
The crowd that's left now at the ABC Headquarters.

On Telegram word of a sit-in protest at the Swanston Street and Flinders Street intersection in Melbourne's Central Business District.
102 AM EASTERN US TIME, 502 PM MELBOURNE TIME
The last live stream video link from "Melbourne Ground" showing a crowd near Government House laws like the one approved in Parliament this week the "pandemic emergency" legislation go to the Governor General at the Government House.
Police around the area either side of the protest group.
We will see how this matter unfolds in the coming hours but will not be back with any posting until the morning and our usual Saturday posts.
