It's a very rainy Saturday in New Zealand and highway vehicle convoy protests were the order of today nationwide protests sponsored by The Freedoms And Rights Coalition.
Today's protests entitled "The Great Gridlock".
Yesterday ahead of the protests the TFRC issued a series of demands to the New Zealand government of Labor Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern including the revocation of workplace vaccination mandates and an end to the segregated system of treating vaccinated and unvaccinated people differently.
The statement said that "The Great Gridlock" protests would continue indefinitely until those four demands are met.

The opposition to the new law becoming a political issue with Premier Daniel Andrews of the Labor Party drawing criticism from the Liberal Party of Australia and Prime Minister Scott Morrison
In the months leading up to these mass protests in Melbourne politicians like Morrison and Andrews at federal and state levels all synchronized with the message of freedom from lockdowns being linked to vaccination.
Now that a mass protest movement has emerged the political forces at work with Pro-Vax Prime Minister Morrison trying to wedge into the debate over the Pandemic Law to stake himself out as an opponent of "pandemic emergency measures" as proposed by a politician associated with his main political opposition the Labor Party.
But the issue of coercion to vaccinate so passionately pursued by all of the major politicians and political parties in Australia very much on the minds of protesters in Melbourne as they marched this afternoon.
