DUTCH PARLIAMENT TO DEBATE UNVACCINATED LOCKDOWN TOMORROW
Debate is set in the Dutch Parliament tomorrow regarding COVID policy with a vote on it to follow.
The debate follows the decision of the current caretaker government of Prime Minister Mark Rutte to institute new restrictive measures including a lockdown for the unvaccinated.
Mr. Rutte still trying to form a new government following elections earlier this year.
The "2G" policy that shuts down events, bars, restaurants and catering also keeps unvaccinated people out of places like cafes and restaurants with no "negative test" option.
Several Dutch political parties including Geert Wilder's Party of Freedom, Thierry Baudet's Forum for Democracy and the Protestant Christian SGP see "2G" as vaccination coercion. Those parties hold 34 of the 150 seats in the lower house.
While Mr. Rutte's VVD Liberals and the D66 Party support "2G". Those parties hold 58 of the 150 seats in the lower House.
For now other political parties not committing themselves.
