Welcome aboard for the weekend.
Politicians are now afraid of "We The People" and the political elites in their fear are just as drunk and crazy as the few folks who chose mayhem and violence at the US Capitol on Wednesday.
I want peace and serenity, sanity and sobriety but the people have been intoxicated with rage.
And who did it?
A lot did it including the political machine warning of "socialism" and "communism" if the vote went a certain way and then we got the 'election fraud' message but now all of the sudden it's not worth getting enraged about it.
We are supposed to move on to making it a political issue in the states. I guess it wasn't as bad as we were told or was it.
After all the drama about "extreme left" Democrats taking over the country and the "stolen election" sit down and shut up is the new order of the day.
Heck they call the people they helped to arouse to anger over the "steal" they wanted to "stop":
"terrorists"

After all the emotional drama and calls for a "fight" and to "stop the steal" the new message is the same as the one "Emily Latellla" gave us.

Last week I told you about the phoney baloney political show set for Wednesday in Washington and that was bad enough until the:

discrediting those opposed to coronavirus restrictions and supporters of President Trump continuing a campaign under way for more than a month that I first saw manifested in Idaho last month with the denunciation of mask mandate opponents who massed in Boise and also protested outside the home of s health board official.
For some reason a memorial to Holocaust victim Anne Frank in Boise just happened to be vandalized at the same time.

People who are concerned about vaccines, opposed to coronavirus lockdowns and restrictions and people who support President Trump. They offended the Republican Party leaders in the state of Idaho.
Ten days after that a Peoples Rights meeting in Idaho and just over a minute into this video people are being urged to make preparations to protect themselves trouble is coming the first man mentions December 21st as the date and eventually January 6th comes up in the meeting the date of the big rally supporting President Trump in Washington DC. You hear people being warned to get in extra food to make their preparations for the trouble that is coming.
What happened December 21st happened at the State Capitol in Salem, Oregon and it bears a resemblance to what happened last Wednesday in Washington DC.

On the Left they have been trying to link Ammon Bundy and People's Rights to the violence at the Capitol you have to wonder if the provocateurs-operatives gave the Peoples Rights folks the information about trouble happening to try to implicate them in these acts but as you see people were told to protect themselves take care of their families not to go anywhere and do anything in that meeting.
Ammon Bundy made a video last night offering a reward of 4 thousand plus dollars to anyone that can find anything he's said on video etc. advocating violence.
Stuff like this clearly pointing the way to trouble I came into last Wednesday knowing trouble was on its way.
I was seeing it and it was informing my estimation of the situation.
Reminds me of my trip to Penn State University this time 40 years ago...
DON'T HAVE ANY OTHER GODS
I headed for State College, PA the Main Campus of Penn State University on a cold Friday in early January 1981, 40 years ago. It was cold in the vehicle I was using the heat in the old car was non-existent.
Before I left I was listening to propaganda broadcasting on shortwave radio. I loved shortwave it gave me news input in those retro years before the Internet.
The broadcast from Radio Havana Cuba:

I guess NBC, CBS, ABC and Fox may pick up that slogan any day now...sarc
The message one of raging hostility aimed at the anti-communist government in El Salvador which Cuban backed forces were fighting against in a brutal war.
That raging hostility for a seasoned World War II journalist like William Shirer reading the Nazi rags (newspapers) in Berlin meant nothing more than imminent attack on the target of the hostility.
The Commies were about to attack in El Salvador.
At noon at campus I had to tell my buddy I was staying with for the weekend the revelation I got.
His revelation to me was that:

Heck, 30 years later "God is dead" would be a legitimate thing to say in State College as the Sandusky case broke open with his arrest. The ESPN'ers in full attack mode Paterno's firing within days and I knew that there would be a riot. There was in State College that night. They went for the media along with the vandalizing.
I saw them turn over the local TV station truck from Altoona instead of any ESPN vehicles which would have been more "fitting"...sarc.
Paterno would die shortly thereafter his "fans" enraged by the fallout for the coach and the football program at Penn State.
They had the "rope" and the "tree" they just needed the "scapegoat" The GOP Attorney General of PA Tom Corbett who started the ball rolling with a grand jury on Sandusky the child sex predator got into the Governor's Mansion ahead of the 2011 indictments of the coach.
In 2012 the Democrats won the AG's office here in PA with 57 percent of the vote, Barack Obama only got 52 percent against Mitt Romney. In 2014 I knew Corbett was toast for his re-election. But the Republican State Committee that remained in RINO hands even in this past election year 2020 shoved the doomed Tom Corbett down our throats. Trump compromised on taking control of the GOP committee in this state for his re-election sad to say late in 2019.
The 'bushido blade" Republicans put Corbett up for re-election in 2014 and the Joe Paterno faithful drove that blade right into them. Republicans won 2014 everywhere but PA where Democrat Tom Wolf won without lifting a finger became our governor.
So who made Tom Wolf Democrat our governor here in PA. Now you know the rest of the story as Paul Harvey used to say.
Oh, back to the story about the Commies in El Salvador. At Midnight that Friday night CBS News on the Hour came on the radio announcing a massive attack in El Salvador by the Communist side.
I had a knack back then for seeing trouble on the horizon based on the information and knowledge I had accumulated.
Needless to say I have been able to do that time and time again to this day.
REMEMBER THIS: IN VENEZUELA WHERE I'VE WATCHED THE SITUATION UNFOLD FOLLOWING THE CHAVEZ COMMUNIST ELECTION WIN IN 1998 I SAW THE OPPOSITION TO THE COMMUNIST-SOCIALIST REGIME HAVE CIRCLES RUN AROUND IT BECAUSE THE LEFTISTS INFILTRATED AND UNDERMINED THE OPPOSITION.

Maintaining sobriety is the priority and I was drifting as the day I dreaded approached I had no doubt about what was happening. I saw video at 115 pm and confirmation of my expectations based on Republican scripts circulating about "hate" and so on from the Idaho GOP in December and from Utah's new Republican Governor Spencer Cox at his inauguration last Monday.
Last weekend I had the inputs about "provocateurs" who tried to disrupt an anti-coronavirus lockdown protest in Washington state last month and the warnings from the December People's Rights meeting in Idaho.
Then the December 21st incident at the Oregon State Capitol and the plans on the table for a protest this Monday January 11th in Olympia, Washington at the State Capitol. Will that happen now?
The days rough with sleep lost and a drift towards drink.
I called my sponsor Tuesday night.
I went to work Wednesday and did the work put my heart into it. I shut off media inputs for six hours until Wednesday evening and I took in a Zoom meeting of the kind drunks go to. Then I faced the "things I cannot change".
THERE'S A RIGHT WAY TO PROTEST AT A CAPITOL OR ANYWHERE ELSE BUT ITS A HARD ROAD AND IT WON'T WORK UNLESS THOUSANDS ARE WILLING TO DO IT THE RIGHT WAY LIKE IT WAS DONE IN BIRMINGHAM ALABAMA IN 1963. SADLY VERY FEW ARE WILLING TO DO IT TODAY WITH ONE NOTABLE EXCEPTION
Is there a right way to protest? There is but that way isn't very popular in our modern world like it was in Birmingham, Alabama in 1963.
Lets fast forward to what happened in Boise, Idaho last August as the Republican controlled legislature rammed through coronavirus legislation kicking media observers out. Someone decided to take a stand at the State Capitol and he got arrested twice and then was banned from the Capitol. Here is Ammon Bundy's second arrest.
The day before three people were arrested. Now there's a protest at a Capitol Building I can say Amen to.
Now lets get back to the music and The Seekers sing a song of people protesting non-violently challenging the forces of "law and order" to come and get them.
Down there in the Seekers homeland of Australia plenty of tyranny nowadays Brisbane shut down when they found one case of COVID-19.

BLAST FROM THE PAST: A RADIO LEGEND IN FORT WAYNE, INDIANA
I listened to the distant radio stations when I was young and one of them on the AM dial WOWO in Fort Wayne. In the early mornings around sunrise here in the East signals from westward were strong and I remember that distinctive voice and hung around to listen to it for a little while Bob Sievers was on the air....
Bob passed away in 2007 and he was one of the greats of great times on the radio.
BREAKING NEWS: PEOPLE'S RIGHTS CANCELLING EVENT AT THE WASHINGTON STATE CAPITOL ON MONDAY
A special statement tonight from People's Rights Washington on a planned protest that was set for this Monday morning at Washington's State Capitol in Olympia. The event was designed to challenge police to allow access to the Capitol that's being denied for the legislative session set to begin Monday.
People's Rights Washington planned the protest on the basis of the Washington State Constitution which states that legislative sessions should be open to the public. They wanted to challenge police to consider which side they are on. The Constitutional side of allowing public access while the legislature is in session or the side of exclusion from the Capitol with COVID-19 being the justification.
The PRW statement cancels its participation but notes that:
"many people will still be going on their own accord to protest peacefully, HOWEVER they see fit. Please respect the RIGHTS of the people before you defend the LIMITATIONS of the government.
There will be 400-750 National Guard present, as well as 200 police and 100 other deputies, guarding the Capitol, preventing the entry of the public to OUR PUBLIC SESSION. All committing treason against this country and aiding the enemy...."
Needless to say again personal safety for families a top priority with so many women and children in the PRW protests in the past and who knows what the law enforcement forces will start doing to people now. I have concerns they are being indoctrinated to believe they are facing "domestic terrorists" if someone shows up Monday and one has to suspect "provocateurs" of the Left Coast are converging on Olympia, Washington even now. The "Antifa in Patriot clothing" groups could pour the gasoline for someone else to light the match.
