One can see that the story of today is written in earlier stories published on this blog like the comments of incoming Utah Republican Governor Spencer Cox alluding to supporters of President Trump-opponents of coronavirus restrictions. They were protesting outside his inauguration.

And then the story of the confrontation at Oregon's State Capitol New Year's Day. A protest that was peaceful at its beginning descended into a more confrontational event with clashes between some people and the police. The Antifa also in the mix. There was storming of Oregon's Capitol last month as well.
Then there's the video posted from Bainbridge Island, Washington on December 13th as People's Rights activists conducted peaceful protest at the home of Washington Governor Democrat Jay Inslee. Let activist Kelli Stewart tell the story of the "provocateurs":
"We did have some provocateurs who showed up today....They did things like started playing Trump speeches right when we got started, when we made this very clear that this was not a political activity...they were doing multiple things, their banners were a little bit more provocateurish and then they one of them was continuously saying to me how they needed we needed to take some more drastic action..."
Stewart went on to say the "provocateurs" appearing as Trump supporters were either supporters of Democrat Governor Jay Inslee, Republicans or federal agents.
Those are directions to look in connection with the organizing of what took place at the US Capitol today IMHO.
