                             PEOPLE IN THE NEWS

David Fry took the lead to continue the non-violent Oregon Standoff protest when the FBI resorted to deadly violence and aggression in arresting its leaders.  When many cut and ran, Fry and three others stayed on in support of the Oregon ranchers Dwight and Steven Hammond and in memory of the slain LaVoy Finicum.   Fry posted videos and sent out a live audio feed during an FBI attempt to assault the protesters encampment in the parking lot of the Malheur National Wildlife refuge.

He was tried as a leader of the protest and found not guilty by the jury.

Last month Fry traveled to Idaho to meet two of the people who were with him during the last days of the protest, Sean and Sandy Anderson.  He posted a video on the way.  Link to:  DAVID FRY VIDEO 6/1/2018

Ryan Bundy acted as his own lawyer when he was tried in federal court for the Oregon Standoff protest at the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge and the Bunkerville Standoff near Bundy Ranch in Nevada.

Bundy was found not guilty by jurors in Oregon and the in his Nevada case he got a federal official under his repeated questioning to admit a surveillance camera was used.  This opened the door to a judge forcing prosecutors to reveal a treasure trove of evidence they withheld, the declaration of a mistrial and dismissal of charges against him.

Now, Ryan Bundy wants to be the next Governor of Nevada noting that Democrats and Republicans who hold office in Nevada failed to come to the protection of his family's ranch from the federal government.

Bundy is staging a fundraiser for his independent candidacy in Las Vegas with a 100 dollar meet and greet event at "The Mint Tavern" in Las Vegas on July 10th.     Link to: RYAN BUNDY FUNDRAISER FOR GOVERNOR

Anne Marie Waters joined UKIP (United Kingdom Independence Party) after working inside the Labor Party for many years.   She ran for the leadership of UKIP with a clear opposition to Islam as a religion saying it was dangerous and that the notion of a radical Islam and a moderate Islam was not true.

In October of last year she formed a new political party "For Britain" and contested a by-election for the House of Commons earlier this year at Lewisham  East, picking up 1.2 percent of the vote.

Waters shared the platform at a free speech rally with the now jailed Tommy Robinson earlier this year.  She and Robinson are involved in the senior leadership of Pegida UK.

After Tommy Robinson's arrest, Waters was one of many speakers at the "Free Tommy" rally in London.

She was interviewed last week by Ezra Levant of  "The Rebel".  Link to:  ANNE MARIE WATERS INTERVIEW-THE REBEL
