The BBC published its first major story of "humanitarian crisis" caused by the Syrian regime offensive in southwestern Syria Wednesday June 27th talking about 50 thousand refugees and hospitals being knocked out by air strikes.
Other MSM outlets have picked up on this story like "The Washington Post".
Online reports have also claimed Iranian involvement in the southwestern offensive, but the Russians previously announced Iranian units have been moved from border areas close to Israel and Syria says only Syrian units are involved.
The Syrian government offensive continues to move forward during the day today (Wednesday June 27th) with reports that 450 US backed Free Syrian Army fighters surrendered in the northeast Daraa countryside.
Near Daraa city itself two villages have fell into the hands of government forces (Nahitah and Samma al-Hneidat) today according to pro-government sources.
