The first song this week a collection of three thousand songs were a big part of my life I played this music as I was working and people used to hear it when they came into work. You'll hear some of those songs next.
I was the janitor overnight at a high school and whoever showed up early including student athletes would get this collection of music from various genres prior to 1985.
I used this music as I worked through the night and a lot of folks asked me about this music these songs the older ones they fondly remembered songs for the young ones these songs were new and different.
I liked the music of Peter, Paul and Mary including this favorite which describes the passage of a boy from childhood sounds like my story this year frankly.

Honda and Nissan planning to join forces to compete against Chinese automakers as well as Toyota.
And then there's President-Elect Donald Trump pushing Canada as a 51st state, wanting to buy Greenland and take back the Panama Canal.
The US needs to get bigger to compete against China IMHO.
2. The Ukraine War Against Russia Expanded This Week. A Russian merchant ship blown up and sunk in the Mediterranean Sea not too far from British territory Gibraltar.
Don't they know it was Christmas?

And then we have the seizure of a Russian affiliated oil tanker off Finland accused of sabotage this seizure a sign of an impending NATO blockade of Russia's access to the Baltic Sea. This would include a sea blockade of the Kaliningrad portion of Russia between Lithuania and Poland.
And Russia talking military escorts of merchant vessels while NATO plans to beef up its presence in the Baltic...

I was shocked when I heard this song in a card shop in Center City Philadelphia in the fall of 1982.
The singer of the song says a man wrote the song for a man but rewrote it for a woman the lyrics bore resemblance to her story...
"Still Searching" is what she said seven years or so ago.
IS AN EVER-ACCELERATING IMAGE DRIVEN REVOLUTION SEPARATING HUMANITY FROM REALITY?
I'm reading a book copyrighted in 1999 and revised by its author in 2007 a few years before his death.

SATURDAY NIGHT IN THE USA-DOES ANYBODY GO OUT TO EAT?
My wife and I had the local IHOP to ourselves two nights after Christmas. IHOP might not get a dinner crowd I've seen as many as 10 in the place previously.
Are many of us out of money or just at home "left to our own devices" using them to get someone else to deliver the meal so we can spend more time with those 'devices'.
I think it's time for a Homeless Update and Clarence "Frogman" Henry "Ain't Got No Home"...
New stats out homelessness up 18 percent in the US did they cook the books to make it look better that means more than 771,000 people or .23 percent of the population of in the good ole USA experiencing living out on the street.
I work at ground level the janitor in the parking lot I see real signs of this...
