A set of songs from the Top 10 49 years ago today. Janis Ian's "At Seventeen" stirring controversy in the media back then. I was primed to be angry about the song but once I happened to hear it I listened to country music all the time it took awhile.
But wow when I heard it I had no argument in me against this song too close to my own experiences as I grew physically into a teenager but was a six-year-old inside back then.
