President Emmanuel Macron this week trying to forge a new government that is ultimately Pro-Business and Pro-Banking as well as being Pro-Israel in the crunch.
His caretaker Prime Minister Gabriel Attal seeking a common program with all political parties other than the National Rally and the LFI the "Far Right" and "Far Left".
It was about everything from improving purchasing power for the French to maintaining 'values' and 'secularism' in France.
At the end of the week Mr. Macron punted the matter of a new government to next Friday calling a meeting with party leaders then.
It's a meeting that Macron says will lead to selection of a new prime minister.
Reacting to Mr. Macron's tactics this weekend the Leftist La France Insoumise (France Rebellious) saying Macron has staged an:
"institutional coup against democracy"
