FRANCE YELLOW VESTS WEEK 302*MACRON REBUFFS LEFT ON NEW GOV'T*LEFT PLANS PROTEST*PROTESTS TODAY*PAVEL DUROV ARREST IN FRANCE WHY NOT ARREST RENAULT CEO?*

(NEWS COMMENT AND ANALYSIS WITH MAINSTREAM MEDIA SOURCES)

RESPECT THE ELECTIONS MESSAGING AT PARIS YELLOW VESTS PROTEST 8/31/2024

The consultations on a new government offered up by President Macron continued Monday with Jordan Bardella and Marine Le Pen of the National Rally and later Eric Ciotti who leads a faction that aligned itself with the RN in last months election.

Right in the middle of those consultations on a new government the incendiary incident at a synagogue in southern France last weekend underscored the tensions behind formation of a new government.

On Monday the French Communist Party leader Fabien Roussel was continuing to apply pressure towards the La France Insoumise (France Unbowed) and its leader Jean Luc-Melenchon.

Roussel calling the incident 'terrorist' saying he hopes Melenchon and his fellow LFI legislators 'clarify' their position on Anti-Semitism.    Melenchon had posted his denunciation of the 'intolerable crime' on social media.

But regardless Melenchon and his political party are too Anti-Israel not to mention Anti-Capitalist for President Macron's camp and the forces behind it.

It has been openly signaled that a new government is desired with Left parties other than LFI participating...BFM-TV France (Translation Prompt)...

And by Monday night Mr. Macron was able to say that there was no way for a united Left to lead a new government.

The media messaging kept hinting at or displaying notions of a government without the LFI that would include other parties of the New Popular Front Left.

But the Left remains in an outwardly unified mode with a protest sponsored by parties of the Left set for next Saturday (September 7th).

This weekend plotting to break the Socialist Party away from the New Popular Front alliance through making a socialist personality Prime Minister in the cards.

Meanwhile the LFI party has circulated its proposal to impeach President Emmanuel Macron.

ON THURSDAY PRESIDENT MACRON BROKE OFF TALKS ON A NEW GOVERNMENT FOR A TWO-DAY VISIT TO SERBIA.

SERBIA AGREEING TO BUY 12 FRENCH WARPLANES FOR 3 BILLION DOLLARS.

WHILE MAINSTREAM MEDIA PUSHED THE NOTION THAT THIS MOVES SERBIA AWAY FROM USING RUSSIAN ARMS IT WORTH NOTING THAT THE SERBS HAVE ALSO BEEN RECEIVING ARMAMENTS FROM CHINA LED BY AN ANTI-AIRCRAFT MISSILE SYSTEM.

A small static group of protesters with drums and signs asking President Macron to respect the National Assembly election results.

Issues like the Citizen Initiative Referendum and France's participation in NATO brought up in the demonstration.

One person seen with the Palestinian flag draped over them.

Another protest in Paris held by the "Les Patriotes" political faction that broke away from the National Rally and is considered "Extreme Right"...

Hundreds at this rally with the party's leader Florian Philippot speaking to media early on during the protest.

This demonstration one critical of the policies of President Emmanuel Macron associating them with 'destitution' in France.

AND THE STORY PUSHED TO THE SIDE THIS WEEK IN FRANCE THE ARREST IN FRANCE OF TELEGRAM CEO PAVEL DUROV ACCUSED OF ALLOWING NEFARIOUS CRIMINAL ACTIVITY ON TELEGRAM.

KREMLIN SPOKESMAN DMITRY PESKOV MADE THESE REMARKS ON A RUSSIAN TELEVISION PROGRAM:

"Indeed terrorists do use the Telegram network.  But terrorists also use cars. Why don't they arrest the CEO of Renault or Citroen?"...

Tass Russia: "Kremlin spokesman terrorists use cars, but carmakers not blamed like Telegram app"

That's the story of France and the Yellow Vests this week.
