Plans for the 2024 Paris Olympics 100 years after the Paris Olympics of 1924 involved an elaborate opening ceremony along the Seine River but now security concerns and fear of terrorism are putting those plans into question.
President Emmanuel Macron the ceremony could be changed depending on the risk to security perhaps even relocated to a stadium for a more traditional Olympic opening ceremony.
