Violence against French school students became a big story with two attacks on teenagers.
Earlier in the week in the southern city of Montpellier a 13-year-old girl ("Samara") attacked outside her school by a gang of teens.
The gang said to number 20 to 25.
She ended up being put into an induced coma for 24-hours following the attack. Her mother says she does not remember the beating.
The mother Hassiba also saying the girls non-Islamic European style dress led to the beating...

And then near Paris on Thursday the beating of a 15-year old schoolboy.
Several attackers beat him badly after a left a music class.
He died of cardiac arrest at a Paris pediatric hospital yesterday.
Five suspects aged 15 to 20 taken into custody...
