YELLOW VESTS PROTEST FRIDAY 3/15/2024 PLACE SAINT PIERRE PARIS
French Prime Minister Gabirel Attal descending upon a prestigious political science school in Paris Wednesday announcing a referral to the public prosecutor.
It stemmed from a Pro-Palestinian protest Tuesday involving 100 students occupying a lecture hall at the "Sciences Po". The protesters keeping others out.
The outrage from government and mainstream media in particular surrounded a comment directed towards a Jewish student.

President Emmanuel Macron saying those remarks were "unspeakable and perfectly intolerable".
The school itself planning disciplinary action over what were called 'intolerable acts' and 'acts of an Anti-Semitic nature'...

THE NATIONAL RALLY ABSTAINED WHILE THE LFI (LEFT) VOTED AGAINST THE UKRAINE SECURITY PACT.
AFTER THAT UKRAINE VOTE MR. MACRON INTERVIEWED BY FRANCE'S TWO MAIN TELEVISION OUTLETS (TF 1-France 2) THURSDAY EVENING SAYING:
"We have one goal. Russia cannot and must not win this war"
This weekend more comments from Mr. Macron regarding Ukraine. Macron holding talks with Polish and German leaders then talking about the notion of troops in Ukraine:
"Perhaps at some point---I don't want it. I won't take the initiative--it will be necessary to have operations on the ground, whatever they may be, to counter the Russian forces."

MR. MACRON ALSO SPEAKING OF 'MANY COUNTRIES IN EUROPE' ON THAT 'LINE' AN APPARENT REFERENCE TO BALTIC COUNTRIES, THE CZECH REPUBLIC AND POLAND.
MANY OBSERVERS BELIEVE UKRAINE IS HEADING TOWARDS DEFEAT ON THE BATTLEFIELD AND PERHAPS MR. MACRON'S MESSAGING IS THAT TROOPS FROM NATO COUNTRIES WILL ENTER UKRAINE AS ITS DEFEAT ON THE BATTLEFIELD BECOMES APPARENT.
THAT SCENARIO LIKELY TO PLAY OUT LATER THIS YEAR.

And in French politics polling was done late last year regarding early legislative elections for France's National Assembly.
And in such a scenario the National Rally led by Marine Le Pen in the National Assembly would have the upper hand reaching anywhere from 243 to just over 300 seats in the 577-seat legislature.
That would be near or more than a majority.
For now that's the story of France and the Yellow Vests.
