The trial of a Canadian pastor whose church holds services in violation of coronavirus restrictions underway this week.
Pastor James Coates of Grace Life Church in Edmonton, with services now held underground following the fencing off of the church's property by authorities, being tried under unusual circumstances.
The name of the prosecutor in the case being kept a secret at the trial.

The coronavirus stats for today from Worldometers showing 46,129 new positive tests in the US and 834,653 Worldwide.
That compares with 56,604 and 885,604 last Wednesday.
India today reporting 412,618 new positive tests. That compares with 379,459 last Wednesday.
Canada reporting 7,378 new positive tests today.
