The Left party in France broaching drug legalization as a solution but other parties supporting police and calling for more action to stop crime.
The traditional party of the "Right" in France Les Republicans taking that stance along with Marine Le Pen of the National Rally the woman expected to face Emmanuel Macron next April in the final round of the Presidential election.
Getting back to Les Republicans Christian Estrosi Mayor of Nice leaving LR this week clearly deciding to be a Macron backer in next year's election. Estrosi critical of LR's positions on issues decrying them as carbon copies of Marine Le Pen's views.
