Clark County, Nevada where Cliven Bundy's ancestors lived then with 16,414 people and the Mesquite census tract had 515 people, Bunkerville 270 and south of Bunkerville the "Overton" census tract with 692 people.
The Las Vegas census tract with 10,389 and the City of Las Vegas with the grand total of 8,422 people in the 1940 census. Vegas just an "overgrown" cow town at the time.
Clark County, Nevada had an estimated population of 2.266,715 people in 2019.
All that change in 80 years.

Your currently sober drunk host here and I think of drunks and last year Clancy Imislund, a very high profile drunk, passed away. He gave decades of his life to the end as director of the Venice Rescue Mission. Clancy in the advertising business in LA before that. The tribute video I saw included celebrity friends of his.
One of them willing to talk about being a drunk with host Dick Cavett back in the 1970's was Dick Van Dyke and the interview starts some 2 minutes and 15 seconds into the video and discussion about alcoholism starts at 5 minutes and 30 seconds....
