Conflicting testimony from former US Capitol security officials who resigned after the January 6th Capitol Incident. They testified before a Senate committee today.
Former US Capitol Police Chief Stephen Sund and House Sergeant at Arms Paul Irving disagree on when National Guard assistance was requested for the Capitol.
Sund, Irving and the former Senate Sergeant at Arms Michael Stenger all say they did not have access to an FBI report sent to the US Capitol Police the evening of January 5th. The report indicated the possibility of trouble at the Capitol the next day.
