Back in World War I to help draw the US into the quagmire that led to Communism and Nazism the American people were propagandized (Bernaysed) with the idea that German soldiers in neutral Belgium tossed babies onto their bayonets.
A guy who made millions working for a British engineering company and who would be a future US President Herbert Hoover started "war relief" for Belgium back then. Herbert Hoover a British agent planted in our government?
In more recent times British intelligence linked to activities in Syria like the "civil defense" humanitarian "White Helmets" who produced videos of "chemical weapons attacks" on civilians.
Now a revelation about the British covert operations to hurt Russia that included infiltration of Russian journalism. This effort enlisted both BBC News and Reuters to help alongside intelligence contractors and the Bellingcat website.

BILL COSBY'S APPEAL TO BE DECIDED BY THE PA SUPREME COURT
Pennsylvania's Supreme Court has heard the appeal of Bill Cosby over his conviction on three counts of aggravated indecent assault. He was sentenced to three to 10 years in prison.
It will be ruling on the case as Cosby approaches three years of imprisonment. The former Montgomery County, Pennsylvania DA Bruce Castor who defended President Trump at the impeachment trial recently declined to prosecute Cosby more than a decade ago.
Castor says that Cosby should never have been charged in the case.
Here is some media sympathetic to Cosby. The story talks about Cosby in prison and his connection with his fellow inmates.

BLAST FROM THE PAST: JACK PAAR NBC-OCTOBER 4TH, 1963 INCLUDING GUEST BILL COSBY
Jack Paar was the second "Tonight Show" host behind Steve Allen and ahead of Johnny Carson. He did prime time television on NBC with a monologue and guests for some years after he left the "Tonight Show" in 1962.
On this show Paar will bring in Bill Cosby for his second appearance on his NBC show. You see Bill Cosby at the beginning of a long association with NBC (Cosby segment 31:15 into video)...
Time is moving us towards the end I will say Good Night and God Bless.
We'll leave with the music of Sir Tom Jones. The story behind that I remember listening to talk radio back in the late 1980's as it began to emerge. The political direction not clear but Rush Limbaugh stirring the pot of change.
One host as I recall was Tom Leykis who presented shocking stuff at least as he saw it. A clergyman in California was saying the music of Tom Jones brought him closer to the Lord, the Almighty, the Higher Power.
It seemed a bit silly to me at the time I hadn't considered the music of Tom Jones other than noting its passion or even sexiness as exemplified by Tom's 1960's performances.
But I still had more time to listen to music I missed like the music of Tom Jones as I lived through the 1990's and on.
And there is another dimension to his music that has become even clearer to me in recent years as I've sobered up from the confusion of my earlier years.
The insanity of intoxication and the danger of violence coming out of it exemplified in the lyrics of "Delilah".
"I was lost like a slave that no man could free"
From the Good Book itself Tom sang "Without Love there is nothing".....
And then a song from country songwriter Curly Putnam that was done by Porter Wagoner but would be very much popularized by Tom Jones "Green Green Grass of Home".
Tom Jones was on television way back some 50 years ago singing his songs and the songs of others and watching that show was my mother.
Mom passed away this week and her passion was very visible when it came to music and dancing even in her later years.
She liked watching Tom Jones and his music which I have learned to like and to watch as my life moved forward.
