The bereaved families of those killed and taken hostage in the brutal October 7th attack on southern Israel by Hamas speaking out against the government of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
They rallied outside Israel's military headquarters in Tel Aviv today on the 1,000-day anniversary of the October 7th attack.
One main demand of the families is for an independent state commission of inquiry into the attack. This is opposed by the Netanyahu government which has set up its own investigation into the attack.

The top US diplomat in Taiwan says that island should become a 'hornet's nest' of drones.
Richard Greene, director of the Taiwan Institute, speaking at a drone conference in the city of Taichung said drones were a 'game-changing opportunity' for Taiwan's security.
He cited the benefit of drones for Ukraine in its war against Russia.
Greene supporting the notion of the US and Taiwan joining together for the 'democratic' production of drones.
China considers Taiwan to be a province under its authority while the US continues to spearhead both military assistance to Taiwan and lead allied nation military maneuvers that include NATO warships sailing around Taiwan.

In New Zealand penalties imposed on a horticultural services company and its director.
The 135,000 dollars' worth of penalties (76,707 US dollars) related to treatment of four migrant workers.
Some of the penalties were designated to be paid to the workers affected.
One aspect of the workers relationship with the company was the 'banking' of their wages leading to the workers not being paid properly.
There were other issues involved including worker paying a 4,500-dollar premium for their employment...One News New Zealand
