Raids conducted against 'far-right' political operations in multiple European countries including France.

They included contractors linked to France's National Rally and its leader the candidate leading opinion polls in next year's Presidential Election Jordan Bardella.

The European Public Prosecutors Office on a search for evidence of embezzlement involving a group of nationalist parties in the European Parliament between 2019 and 2024.

Mr. Bardella is awaiting a court decision this Tuesday regarding Marine Le Pen's appeal of her disqualified from being a political candidate.   

That is linked to her conviction on charges of embezzling European Parliament funds.
