For now, we haven't gotten into a violent confrontation with China but remember the Coup in Ukraine which the US was involved in when Barack Obama was President in 2014.

It would trigger Russian responses including the seizure of Crimea and conflict in eastern Ukraine that would eventually escalate to Russia's 2022 invasion.

Much talk of China invading Taiwan as if the United States seeks to push China towards that kind of response.

In 1940 the economic measures against Japan required a Japanese response and in December of 1941 it was all out from Southeast Asia to Pearl Harbor.

Is there a repeat of history in the making. Stay Tuned.
