Judges at trial of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu suggest the charge of bribery be dropped.


This is the second time the judges have raised the issue of the bribery charge.


They raised it three years ago at the trial that has been stretched out due to Mr. Netanyahu's schedule complicated by the warfare Israel has been involved in for more than three-and-a-half years.


The judges say if the bribery charge remains the trial that began in 2020 will stretch into 2028.

In Jerusalem Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar meeting his counterpart from South Sudan James Pitia Morgan.


Mr. Sa'ar noting Israeli support for South Sudan amid the conflict in the region including the Civil War in neighboring Sudan.  That conflict creating a major refugees.


In that war the Sudanese Army fighting the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) supported by the Israel-aligned United Arab Emirates.   Israel sent air defense forces to the UAE during the conflict with Iran in recent months.


Both sides speaking of their intention to cooperate more closely in the future.  


South Sudan recently honoring an Israeli official who led a Mossad spy agency mission that helped South Sudan in its fight for independence from Sudan.
