The Pope and the President has been news this week I grew up listening to Dr. Carl McIntire self-styled leader of a 20th Century Reformation against liberal Protestant theology.

One of his friends was from Northern Ireland and once his friend Dr. Ian Paisley said this to a Pope:

"I denounce you as Christ's enemy and Antichrist"

The events of recent weeks certainly create an atmosphere where the name "Antichrist" can be applied to individuals on all sides of the Iran War.
