US President Donald Trump slamming President Emmanuel Macron under pressure over the Iran War.

One aspect of the Iran War is a refugee crisis in Lebanon more than one million people driven from their homes most in southern Lebanon near the Israeli border.

Mr. Macron concerned about the humanitarian situation as well as the killing of UN peacekeeping soldiers in the Israeli military offensive now underway in Lebanon.

As noted last week French diplomat Fabrice Aidan under investigation over his linked to Jeffrey Epstein provided Epstein with UN documents that were confidential underscoring Israel's adversarial relationship with the UN.

President Macron extending Europe's links to Far Eastern nations touted as the new members of an expanded NATO to counter China militarily.

In Japan Macron signed a deal with Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi on critical minerals and nuclear power.

In South Korea Macron and President Lee Jae Myung agreeing to closer defense cooperation including maintaining passage through the Strait of Hormuz following the Iran War.   

Defense ministers of South Korea and France also discussed closer cooperation between the two nations on defense.

While US President Donald Trump may be threatening to leave NATO what will really happen may not bear resemblance to his public statements now dictated by a need to distract from the Iran War which may be escalating to include more US military casualties.

Also, one senses the drama over NATO distracts from escalating NATO activity against Russia with seizures of 'shadow fleet" oil tankers by European countries on the high seas.

The deals and cooperation with Japan and South Korea concluded by Mr. Macron done with China in mind and the need to oppose China economically on the road to potential military confrontation in alignment with the United States.
