In this election the new "Progressive Bulgaria" Party of resigned President Rumen Radev contesting for the first time.

Radev described as "Pro-Russian" his party led public opinion polls prior to today's vote.

The exit polls tonight showing Radev's "PB" Party the clear winner one poll giving his party 38.9 percent, the other 37.5 percent.
