There's a song I listened to a lot in 1974 not really able to fully appreciate its content. My maturity was interrupted only recently has it emerged in a fuller bloom.
REMEMBERING MOM
Melba Montgomery's "No Charge" reminds me of the passing of my mother five years ago this past week.
Mom did so much for me in my immaturity over the years filled voids and gaps too many of them for a child who just wasn't able to grow up.
Sexual harms happened when I was young but one thing I spoke to my mother in the morphine coma on that awful COVID-era day she passed was this.
I appreciated the fact that she kept me from going to some man's house back when I was 11 years old. That guy and a buddy of his he worked with collected pictures of children and yes eventually the law got involved.
But the punishment was mild compared to today "Alan Dershowitz Law" was in force the "Epstein Deal" of decades ago heck more the norm of those times.
That's a heck of a lot to think about. You just need God's Word after this...

I think about mobs wanting to demonize people right now hurt them harm them during this Holy Season we are reminded of the mob that said:
"Crucify Him!"
WHO DO YOU WANT TO CRUCIFY RIGHT NOW?
Marjorie Taylor Greene, Thomas Massie, Benjamin Netanyahu, Donald Trump, Ilhan Omar, Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton, Ghislaine Maxwell. Heck Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Vladimir Putin, Volodymyr Zelensky. Maybe Bret Baier or Wolf Blitzer I actually gave them a few minutes this weekend.
There's a prayer list for you this weekend but for me I think of the people in the 12-step program and certainly my family members.
Pray for the peace and serenity that these folks need in their lives I am fortunate to have something of those things on this very troubling weekend.
I identify openly as a Pharisee, a Hypocrite I want to criticize others not look at myself.
