While we wait for the impending release of the federal government files on Jeffrey Epstein the files of the Epstein Estate released earlier raise questions about Epstein that go beyond sex abuse and sex trafficking.
Jeffrey Epstein victim Virginia Giuffre wrote in her posthumous memoir published after her suicide that Jeffrey Epstein trafficked her to other men including one identified in versions published in some countries that have lenient libel laws:
"a well-known former Prime Minister"
Giuffre wrote of that former Prime Minister's brutal treatment of her.
One former Prime Minister does figure prominently in relation to Epstein namely Ehud Barak of Israel.
He was installed as Israel's Prime Minister in 1999 assisted by Paul Begala one of then President Bill Clinton's political gurus.
Clinton sought during the last portion of his presidency to cut a deal for "peace" involving Israel and the Palestine Liberation Organization leader Yasser Arafat.
It turns out that Mr. Barak maintained contact with Epstein even after Jeffrey Epstein's first plea deal conviction.
Epstein advising Barak on how to promote the bombing of Syria over alleged chemical weapons use.
The notion of bombing Syria was then under consideration by President Barrack Obama.
In 2016 Jeffrey Epstein was also in contact with the man who now serves as President Trump's Representative for Syria.

In the end President Trump chose to bomb Syria twice during his first term as President over alleged chemical weapons use by the former Syrian government of President Bashar Assad with Mr. Trump describing Assad as a "butcher" who was killing children.
During the first bombing of Syria in April 2017 Steve Bannon was working directly with President Trump at the White House.
After Bannon left the White House he was in frequent communication with Jeffrey Epstein.
Some of their communications in 2018 linked to improving Epstein's image.
But other matters like removing Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell were discussed.
One email from Epstein to Bannon read in part:
"Getting rid of Powell much more important than Syria/Mattis"...
The full meaning of that remains a mystery for now. Whether the Epstein files to be released in the coming hours will shed any new light remains to be seen.
