A "Change of Heart" a theme in the 12-step movement that's for sure and last year a change of heart for me with a heart hurting over my sin.
Dr. James Dobson was being remembered last weekend I needed a week to reflect on what I'm about to say.

ACCORDING TO DR. JAMES DOBSON I BECAME AN ADULT LAST YEAR
I remember the 1980's and the Christian subculture all the 'experts' God Bless the memory of Dr. James Dobson. Focus on the Family was a resource trying to help Christians and families.
Dr. Dobson wrote books himself based on his experiences in psychology and in those writings I recall Dr. Dobson noting that boys around 13 or 14 years old have sex with themselves.

For me that activity started well before puberty heck six and half year old. And whenever the advisory about 'mature content' on television came up my hands went down.
And for 57 more years in shameful situation after shameful situation I acted out in my isolation from God in my Pre-Hell isolated existence of Hell on Earth.
And last year at the age of 64 I walked away from sex with self. So now I can consider myself a mature adult.
