The next round of the Israel-Iran War is on the way with signs of US-Israeli activity to appease nations neighboring Iran facilitating covert and overt operations when fighting breaks out again.
Last week's White House announcement by US President Donald Trump of a peace deal between two nations on Iran's northern frontier drew a concerned response from Iran's President Masoud Pezeshkian...
Pezeshkian worried about the implications of the Armenia-Azerbaijan settlement bringing more US-Israeli military power into the region.
Israel helped Turkey-Qatar aligned Azerbaijan with military assistance including drones that helped to drive the Azeris to victory leading to last week's settlement announcement.
Turkey-Qatar also very aligned with Azerbaijan whose airspace was said to have been used by Israel to attack Tehran during the Friday June 13th-12 Day War.
Bordering Iran on the east is Pakistan where the real power behind its civilian leadership is the military.
Pakistani military chief Field Marshal Asim Munir paying two visits to the United States in recent months including lunch with President Trump at the White House back in June.
A deal between the US and Pakistan followed that lunch as well.
In the wake of President Trump's imposition of 50 percent tariffs on Pakistan's arch-rival India Field Marshal Munir making powerful threats in his latest visit to the United States this week...
And then there's the other nation bordering Iran on the east Taliban-ruled Afghanistan and this surprising if not shocking outcome to a human rights resolution vote in the UN General Assembly last month:
"The resolution was adopted by 116 votes in favor versus the United States and Israel against, with 12 abstentions.
The text 'expresses its serious concern about the grave, worsening, widespread and systematic oppression of all women and girls in Afghanistan by the Taliban'"...
This week Iranian authorities revealed 21,000 arrests during the recent 12-Day War with Israel with particular emphasis on illegal immigrants from Afghanistan with Afghan citizens suspected of being spies for Israel...
Getting back to Israel Mr. Netanyahu's deep political struggle and his ongoing corruption trial loom large in September.
The High Court set to hear arguments September 3rd regarding the cabinet's decision to fire Israel's Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara.
The AG prosecuting not just the corruption trial of Mr. Netanyahu but involved in other corruption cases linked to the Prime Minister.
One case involving Qatari money flowing to Netanyahu's close aides to help paint a positive image of the nation closely linked to Hamas in Gaza.
The Netanyahu corruption trial set to return from a two-month hiatus announced during the earlier Israel-Iran conflict. President Trump has repeatedly called for the trial and prosecution of Mr. Netanyahu to end.
Going to war with Iran in the coming weeks would likely give Netanyahu's government cover to implement the AG's firing in defiance of the High Court and or further delay Netanyahu's corruption trial and other criminal investigations linked to him.
And why not bring in the Epstein Files. The US House out of session the rest of this month preventing the discharge petition in the US House to force the release of files President Trump now considers a "hoax".
The ties of both Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell as well as the man who gave them legal representation at times, Alan Dershowitz, to Israel are certainly undeniable.
Russia has been supporting Iran Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu talking to President Vladimir Putin in recent weeks as Mr. Trump seeks some accommodation with Mr. Putin perhaps linked to the conflict with Iran...
So while all other events play out here in the US and around the world evidence of impending conflict the second round of the Israel-Iran War is mounting and one should not be surprised if conflict happens as early as the end of this month.
