Its Election Day in Belarus a country with Poland, Russia and Ukraine among its neighbors.    The authoritarian ruler President Alexander Lukashenko facing a robust challenge from opponents as he seeks re-election.    


This year two potential opposition candidates arrested and a third fleeing the country for his safety.    But the wife of one of those arrested, Svetlana Tikhanovskaya, has emerged as Lukashenko's leading opponent.
