Part of the statement late today from Liberty University, a Conservative Christian institution, regarding its President and Chancellor, Jerry Falwell Jr.
Falwell agreed to the leave of absence at the request of the executive committee of the university's board of trustees.
The move follows the appearance of a photo on his Instagram account with his arm around a woman as he is holding a cup with a dark liquid in it. Both his pants and the woman's shorts are unzipped.
Falwell discussed the photo in radio interview Wednesday....
