President Emmanuel Macron's second prime minister since last summer's legislative elections spoke Tuesday trying to find a way to get a majority of the National Assembly behind him.
Francois Bayrou touching on sensitive issues the most sensitive the decision to raise France's retirement age from 62 to 64. It was imposed by President Macron using Article 49:3 of the Constitution when majority support was lacking in the assembly.
Mr. Bayrou rolling out the notion of a three-month process to find a sustainable way forward on pensions in France.
An attempt by the Leftist LFI (La France Insoumise) party to censure the Bayrou gov't fell well short getting only 131 votes in the National Assembly.
A few Socialists joined the LFI with others in the alliance of the "Left" steering clear of the censure motion.
The National Rally opted not to support the censure motion while stating the government deserved censure...

The founder of the Telegram App Pavel Durov remains detained in France required to report to police twice a week and under interrogation facing criminal charges.
Durov reportedly told French authorities he will step up content moderation on his platform questioning on December 6th.
Following Durov's detention in France last August Telegram has removed links to Russian media organizations in European Union countries...
A larger protest in the streets of Paris today in support of those nations formerly French colonies now more friendly to Russia than France...
Also in Paris today a protest of the small band of Yellow Vests a video posted in connection with that protest it lasts seven hours and 38 minutes including what happened before and after the demonstration-march.
