SYRIA LATEST:  MORE AIR STRIKES IN DARAA, THREE  CORRIDORS FOR CIVILIAN EVACUATION

(LATE WORD FROM THE DARAA REGION TONIGHT IS THAT A 12 HOUR TRUCE BEGINS AT MIDNIGHT LOCAL TIME, 5PM EASTERN USA, THIS IS BEING CALLED 'FOR RECONCILIATION'.   AFTER THAT THE OFFENSIVE RESUMES)

There have been 20 or more air strikes by Syrian and Russian aircraft this morning in the Daraa region as the offensive continues.

Meanwhile, the  Syrian government has opened up three corridors for civilians to leave areas where military operations are underway with aid materials and ambulances available.

Syrian Army units have opened up attacks on the western side of the Daraa region west of the M5 highway supported by the Russian Aerospace Forces (Air Force).  Hezbollah affiliated media claim the Syrian government forces captured the villages of Sad Ibta and Tell Hamad.

If this attack is developed fully it may cut off jihadists in the Quneitra region along the Golan Heights border with Israel.   Area of attack is in red box on linked map.  SOUTHFRONT MILITARY MAP 6/28/2018

The Syrian Army has also proclaimed a victory over ISIS in the Deir Ezzor desert along Syria's southern frontier with Iraq.

The Syrians say they have cleared over 52-hundred square kilometers of territory from ISIS control forcing ISIS into hiding in the Homs desert.
