TURKEY'S THANKSGIVING PLANS WON'T GO DOWN WITH YOUR DINNER

"I guess the audio recordings of the moments during, before and after Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi's  killing are going to start being released as of today.  Because the international discussions about the order for this brutal murder, its organization, preparations and perpetration have made it necessary to present "new evidence".  Today or this week seems to be the most convenient time to do this....."

Commentator Ibrahim Karagul In Turkey's Pro-Government "Yeni Safak" newspaper 11/19/2018

"It's a suffering tape, it's a terrible tape."

US President Donald J. Trump In "Fox News Sunday" interview that was broadcast 11/18/2018

The man who puts out the message for the Turkish regime of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is driving home the message that Turkey sees the killing of Khashoggi as being an act done at the bidding of Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman and with the US State Department and President Trump hedging on putting the blame on the Crown Prince, Ibrahim Karagul asserts that Turkey is about to reveal more that will pin the blame on Bin Salman and others:

"The conversations among the murders, their conversations with Riyadh after committing the murder, dialogues that will prove the crown prince was the one who directly gave the order, perhaps the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Egyptian intelligence's role in the incident, and as a matter of fact, information on Israeli intelligence's 'expertise' or on the U.S. leg of the murder may be revealed"

He says the revelations will shake up Saudi Arabia and the region and "create brand new situations in the region's power structuring".

He goes so far as allege US and Israeli involvement.

As you may be aware, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu took control of the Defense Ministry on Sunday and headed off cabinet resignations that would have led to new elections citing a "special security situation".

Any connection here?

Don't know.

Thanksgiving Week is a traditional news dumping time and will the smoking gun of the Khashoggi murder be unleashed this week?

The US government indeed may be planning to put out its opinion of the matter this week and Turkey seems angry at anything that exonerates Bin Salman and may indeed dump the awful audio tape of the murder on purpose to advance its side of the story with the ultimate goal  of advancing Turkish power and influence in the Middle East.
