There were Israeli air attacks in Syria late Thursday evening.

President Trump cancelled a planned meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin because of the incident involving three Ukrainian warships blocked and seized by Russian border police for entering waters controlled by Russia.     The President noted that the 23 Ukrainian military on the ships are still being held by Russia as well as the ships themselves.

Mr. Trump hopes to meet Mr. Putin at a future date.

Russia says the aggressive actions of the Ukrainian vessels last Sunday were deliberately designed to provoke a response.

Ukraine is imposing restrictions on Russians living in Ukraine including travel abroad, bank withdrawals and currency exchange.

President Trump arrived in Argentina for the G20 summit last night.

This morning he was meeting with Argentina's President Mauricio Macri.  Trump said he would be talking about "good things for both countries" with the Argentine president.

A highlight of the summit involving the world's 20 largest nations economically will be the meeting of the leaders of the two economic superpowers, the United States and China.

President Trump and China's President Xi Jinping will tackle the divide between the two countries as the United States tries to leverage a more favorable economic position versus China.

This word from "Mr. Brexit" Nigel Farage on his radio show Thursday:

Singer and songwriter Yusuf Islam, formerly known as Cat Stevens, says schools today teach brilliant things and technologies:

"but where is God, where is Allah"

He spoke at a "Halal" summit and expo in Istanbul organized by the Turkish presidency.   Cat Stevens converted to Islam in 1978 and changed his name.

I guess you could say "baby, baby it's a wild world".
