President Trump was in Columbia, Missouri last night on his pre mid-term election campaign tour speaking at an airport rally.

Trump urging support for Republican candidates like Missouri Attorney General Josh Hawley, who's challenging incumbent Democrat Clair McCaskill for a US Senate seat there.

Among the other US Senate races an unusual one in Mississippi where there's an "open primary special election" being held next Tuesday.   Two Democrats and two Republicans are running with the top two finishers set for a runoff three weeks later.

The two Democrats include former Agriculture Secretary Mike Espy while the two GOP candidates are the appointed US Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith and State Senator Chris McDaniel.

In a 2014 primary runoff with former Senator Thad Cochran, advertising  calling McDaniel a racist was used to draw in Democrats voters to help Cochran win.  That led to the cry "Remember Mississippi" among conservative activists.

President Trump has endorsed Hyde-Smith but so has the "Cheap Labor Express" US Chamber of Commerce.

At a rally in front of 400 people last night in DeSoto County, McDaniel asked:

"Why hasn't that wall been built yet?"

Earlier this week the Danish government accused Iran of plotting to kill an Arab separatist. Iran says the alleged plot was a false flag cooked up by Israel.

The alleged Iranian plot could be interpreted as an attempt to drive a wedge between the European Union countries and Iran.   Many EU countries still want to do business with Iran in spite of the new tougher sanctions being imposed by the United States effective this month.

The US has granted waivers on Iranian sanctions to eight countries including South Korea and Japan as well as India.   Iran has big oil customers in Asia.  Bloomberg Business is reporting that today with the official list set for release on Monday.

The "Jerusalem Post" reported the group received an official invitation from Saudi Arabia two months ago and had met with the Crown Prince of the United Arab Emirates prior to that.

There's been news leaked out regarding a conversation the Crown Prince had on October 9th, seven days after Khashoggi was reported missing, with Saudi Arabia claiming it knew nothing about his disappearance at the time.

Mohammed Bin Salman was denouncing Khashoggi as a former member of the Islamist Muslim Brotherhood and dangerous in a phone call with President Trump' son-in-law Jared Kushner and  US National Security Adviser John Bolton.
