GREG BURLESON UPDATE: STILL UNDER HARSH TREATMENT AT FEDERAL PRISON IN PENNSYVLVANIA
At least he can bathe himself and get hygiene products, but Greg Burleson is banned from getting extra food through his commissary privilege and his mattress has been taken away for three months, he is banned from having visitors and making phone calls for eight months. His personal items were taken away from him.
His cellmate is allowing Greg to use his mattress.
Burleson was convicted in the first rigged Bunkerville Standoff trial last year and sentenced to 68 years and three months in prison. Evidence proving his innocence uncovered in the third trial of key defendants including Bundy family members led to dismissal of those charges because of "gross misconduct" by prosecutors who still have their jobs.
The punishment of Burleson which has been called "torture" is being administered at the Allenwood federal prison in Pennsylvania.
Burleson, who went blind after his arrest, is refusing to go back to a cellblock where he was threatened with harm and where could hear the screams of other inmates being beaten, stabbed and raped.
