ELECTION 2018 UNPLUGGED: THE LATE NIGHT REPORT 2AM AND BEYOND
As the night moves on in Nevada Clark County has swung things around as the vote count continues putting Democrat Jacky Rosen ahead of Senator Dean Heller for US Senate with Rosen now declared the winner taking a seat away from the GOP.
Democrat Steve Sisolak is now declared the winner over Adam Laxalt for Governor. Ryan Bundy got 1.45 percent of the vote at last count and with his vote and two other candidates plus "None of the Above" you got over four percent of the vote with Adam Laxalt losing by some three percent.

In Montana Matt Rosendale is leading incumbent Jon Tester 49 to 48 percent with no winner declared yet, that would be a GOP pickup if Rosendale wins.
In Arizona incumbent Republican Paul Gosar winning big in the 4th Congressional District, a Republican who's own children came out against him. Gosar was in London earlier this year speaking in support of the imprisoned Tommy Robinson who's case is being dragged out by authorities as he remains out of prison for now.
The election of two Democrat Muslim women to the US House is being hailed in the media tonight not just here in the USA, but in places like Turkey where its headlined on the "Yeni Safak" website.
Rashida Tlaib will represent Detroit's 13th Congressional District of Michigan that was held forever it seemed by the very left-wing Democrat John Conyers. She is Palestinian.
In Minneapolis Ilhan Omar is the winner in Minnesota's 5th Congressional District. She is part of the very large Somali community in the Twin Cities area. Omar is a Democratic Socialist and will be the first woman in Congress to wear a hijab.
Jared Polis, the gay millionaire who helped others win elections, will be the new governor of Colorado.
Democrat Polis beat Republican Walker Stapleton and is expected to be a more liberal governor than the outgoing Democrat John Hickenlooper.
Mr. Hickenlooper has higher aspirations. He's reported to have told a group in New Hampshire recently that he is running for President of the United States in 2020.
A local race in Oregon worth reporting tonight is the race for one of the three commissioner seats in Grant County, Oregon. Sam Palmer, brother of Grant County's Constitutional Sheriff Glenn Palmer the winner with all but 24 ballots received (Sam Palmer 2,027 votes to Gordon Larson's 1,686).
Glenn Palmer has been an outspoken opponent of federal control of western lands and supported negotiations and release of ranchers Dwight and Steven Hammond when Ammon Bundy was leading the Oregon Standoff protest in early 2016.
Sam Palmer's win should secure two of the three commissioners on the side of defending local farmers and ranchers against the feds in Grant County. When you consider that GOP Overlord Ryan Zinke, the Interior Secretary, wants to build land bridges across farming and ranching land for wildlife movement that's something good for the folks in Grant County, Oregon.
Some shifts in the House with the court gerrymandering here in Pennsylvania three seats moving from R to D and in Virginia a shift in 3 seats from R to D, Incumbent Dave Brat among those defeated for the R's in the 7th Congressional District.
And here we are after 5am Wednesday with Brian Kemp leading by two percentage points over Democrat Stacey Abrams for Governor in Georgia and Abrams refusing to concede defeat.
Kemp has said "victory is near" and it looks like he is the winner there. As long as he has over 50 percent the law considers him the winner in Georgia and he is at 50.55 percent.
