Money is tight right now this month five years ago the floodgates of inflation were released I knew back then these days were coming.

But in spite of the money crunch I hope some can join me in supporting Free Republic.

I first started lurking in earnest on FR 20 years ago Rush Limbaugh made many references to FR and I dropped in now and then since I got on the internet in 2001.

But 20 years ago this month as Terri Schiavo was put to death and Jeb Bush put his political career to death I got closer to FR eventually joining and eventually giving regular financial support.

      "The free world needs a new leader"

That's her reaction to President Trump's insistence that Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky move to end the Ukraine War against Russia...

(THE US GOVERNMENT STARTED THIS UKRAINE WAR AGAINST RUSSIA AS I SEE IT AND THE US GOVERNMENT HAS A RIGHT TO END IT)

Hope we can away from the anger here I feel like resorting to 12-Step Literature for the moment...

"This brave philosophy, wherein each man plays God, sounds good in the speaking, but it still has to meet the acid test: how well does it actually work?  One good look in the mirror ought to be answer enough for any alcoholic.

Should his own image in the mirror be too awful to contemplate (and it usually is), he might first take a look at the results normal people are getting from self-sufficiency.

Everywhere he sees people filled with anger and fear, society breaking up into warring fragments.

Every such pressure group, if it is strong enough, self-righteously imposes its will upon the rest.

And everywhere the same thing is being done on an individual basis.   The sum of all this mighty effort is less peace, and less brotherhood than before.

The philosophy of self-sufficiency is not paying off..."

"And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons, they will speak in new tongues;

they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison; it will not hurt them at all;

they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well"

                                    Mark 16:17-18 NIV Bible

In church last Sunday I heard this message coming up on video.

The message from Pastor Ben Lawrence comes at 52 minutes Acts Chapter 4 pretty interesting stuff those who followed Jesus hauled into court by the "Sadducees" among others I rate "Sadducees" as "Liberals".

These Liberals not happy with the miraculous healing of a man done in the name of Jesus.

But the "Pharisees" the "Conservatives" like me have an even bigger place in denying the Lord and being critical of those who follow Him.

How many times in my life did I put some other agenda ahead of that of my Lord Jesus Christ?

                                                   Countless times indeed.
