FREE TOMMY ROBINSON RALLY DRAWS MASSIVE CROWD INTO CENTRAL LONDON, US CONGRESSMAN SPEAKS

A crowd was already in London for a separate pro-Donald Trump event, but after that event many of the Trump supporters made their way down to Whitehall where another crowd was forming for a "Free Tommy Robinson" rally.

The event was emceed by Raheem Kassam of "Breitbart" in London, who has been a close associate of "Mr. Brexit"  Nigel Farage.

An early speaker was leader Gerard Batten of the United Kingdom Independence Party, the leading party of Brexit buoyed by this week's rising poll numbers in the midst of the controversy over Prime Minister Theresa May's Brexit sellout.

Batten spoke about an arrest of a protestor at a May "Free Speech" rally in London being held without charge, a British citizen with a "European Arrest Warrant" on him on cooked up charges.

Then Batten moved onto the matter of Tommy Robinson and his arrest asking questions:

"Was he really in contempt of court?  Did he really breach the terms of his suspended sentence and is 13 months fair and proportionate sentence for his offence if indeed he was guilty?"

He went on to say:

"But in my view Tommy Robinson has been in prison much more for who he is and what he says rather than what he is supposed to have done.......he has now become a symbol of the opposition to so much that we know is rotten in our society.....a real criminal is someone who preys upon the weak and the defenseless.

Tommy Robinson is somebody who has chosen to defend the weak and the helpless...the suffragettes broke the law....Mahatma Gandhi broke the law, he was arrested and convicted 13 times......Robin Hood broke the law......who's side would you rather be on, Robin Hood or the Sheriff of Nottingham?.......Who's side do you want to be on now, Tommy Robinson or the political establishment?...."

Unable to attend because the Theresa May government would not give him police protection themselves or  allow armed Dutch police to protect him from death threats,  the leader of the Party of Freedom in The Netherlands, Geert Wilders spoke by video.

Excerpts of Wilders speech:

".....Mrs. May your Prime Minister prevented me to come to London today.  She probably didn't like my speech last time.  Shame on you Mrs. May.....

We will never let Tommy down  Free Tommy Robinson!

And shame on you Mrs. Theresa May.   You did not act against the massive rape of young English girls....

My friends, I ask you is this how you want your country to be governed?...

He fought for our children,  But the Establishment wants to silence him because the Establishment wants to silence all of us...."

His speech noted that Robinson was doing what the media and the justice system in the UK was failing to do in cases of industrial scale child sexual abuse going on in Muslim neighborhoods.

Wilders looked to England's past history and recalled the courageous stand of Winston Churchill.

A representative of France's National Rally Party (former the National Front) spoke about the political establishment's crushing of dissent beyond throwing people in jail noting how bank accounts were seized by the French government linked to his party (that included personal accounts of leader Marine LePen).      He also noted that after the League Party in Italy came to power recently in a coalition government, a judge ordered its bank accounts seized.

Towards the end of the rally US Representative Paul Gosar (R-Arizona) spoke to the crowd.

Some things Gosar said:

"When I first heard of the case of Tommy Robinson I could not stay silent....We want Tommy out....

The first part of our Bill of Rights was adopted back in 1791.  I want to talk to you about that for a second.   I take the Bill of Rights seriously because not only does it undescore the self-evident truths that my nation's Founding Fathers fought so hard to secure, but it also limits the capability of people like me, Congressman, governments at large from prohibiting people from exercising their speech, their rights......"

Tommy Robinson's appeal in the High Court  scheduled for last Tuesday was cancelled because government lawyers said they weren't ready.

Robinson remains in solitary choosing to stay in the hole for 23 and a half hours a day rather than face the death threats he received upon his arrival at HMP Onley by being in the general population.

His transfer to Onley from a safer prison last month is seen as a deliberate effort by the British government of Theresa May to torture and torment him into silence and submission.
