NEXTRUSH UNPLUGGED:  MONDAY NIGHT VERSION

Music Links:

Great to be with you on this Monday night as we continue to move forward just like the Syrian army is moving forward in the northwest with the key town of Khan Shaykhun the scene of battle in southern Idlib province.    A link below:

The story is that the jihadists of Hayat Tahrir al-Sham  (HTS) are in the process of being defeated there.    HTS is the new name of Al-Qaeda in Syria.

Another aspect of the story is the story of what happened when a convoy of reinforcements was rolling towards the front.    Turkish backed opposition forces are aligned with HTS and this Turkish convoy was bombed by the Syrian regime as the Turks were trying to reinforce the jihadist side of the battle.

It is being said that three civilians were killed, others injured.

Even the President of the United States has expressed his outrage at the notion of civilian casualties in the fight against "Al Qaeda of Syria" if you will repeating this line that Assad's government, its Russian and Iranian allies are just awful.

The BBC spins the propaganda and why are Western nations like the  US and the UK and others so intent on creating sympathy when the Syrian government tries to fight the "admirers of Osama bin-Laden" in Syria?......LINK

Voters in Germany go to the polls in two states on Sunday September 1st, just 13 days from now.

Brandenburg and Saxony part of the former East Germany and both strongholds of support for the anti-mass immigration Alternative for Germany.    Here the AfD enjoys support at levels over 20 percent and will be dramatically increasing its support from the last elections in 2014.

Latest polling data puts the AfD in the lead in Brandenburg at around 21 percent and in second place in Saxony at around 25 percent.

Here's a story published on "The Local" written by the AFP News Agency describing the mood of Brandenburg voters.....LINK

The story of the Iranian oil tanker continues to unfold as the newly named "Adrian Darya 1" sails eastward through the Mediterranean now under the Iranian flag.

The US Justice Department with a warrant linking the tanker to the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps.     The US labels the IRGC a terrorist organization.    The State Department warning Greece which is the ship's next destination about offering any assistance to the vessel.

"Russia Today" summarizes the situation.......LINK

We are operating under new parameters with limited time so good night to everyone and "The Yellow Number" Facebook posted tonight that there some 140 Yellow Vests protests in France last Saturday as the numbers are small but the gatherings numerous across the country during the summer.

Hope you find some sane and sober things to do, the next right things and the passionate performance of Johnny Cash at San Quentin singing "Folsom Prison Blues" closes us out.
