New information released in connection with the activities of accused child sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein and his associate Ghislane Maxwell with many high profile names also in the mix.


Court documents related to a civil case unsealed Friday in New York.


Virginia Roberts Giuffre filed a defamation suit in 2015 against Ghislane Maxwell and provided evidence and testimony to back up her allegations.


She claims in the documents released that she was directed to have sex with two prominent Democrats.     One, former Energy Secretary, UN Ambassador, envoy to North Korea and Governor of New Mexico, Bill Richardson.   The other, former Senate Majority Leader George Mitchell.


Denials from those men and others named in the documents.


Guiffre's lawyer, David Boies, says there is nothing in the case that shows wrongdoing by former President Bill Clinton, Vice-President Al Gore or current President Donald Trump.

A phrase used by President Trump facing the media at the White House Friday with the President indicating talks are underway with the Republican and Democrat leaders in Congress on new Second Amendment legislation.


The President also tweeting about:


"meaningful background checks"



claiming he is the:



"biggest Second Amendment person there is"



but adding new checks are needed on firearms purchases:



"for the good and safety of our Country"






A 20-year old man in custody in Springfield, Missouri after he walked into a Walmart Thursday with guns, wearing body armor and dressed in a military style.    His presence caused panic in the store.


Police found 100 rounds of ammunition when Dmitriy Andreychenko was arrested.    He is accused of making a first-degree terrorist threat.


Andreychenko said to be going through the store and making comments as he pushed a shopping cart.


He was taken into custody as he left the store.


Friday night KYTV in Springfield, Missouri reporting that his family saying that Andreychenko was conducting a "social experiment".    More at the link.....HERE


Walmart has removed violent video game displays in its stores following last weekends mass murder attack at one of its stores.    The announcement for the media on Friday but the action taken within hours of last weekend's attack at Walmart stores.


This was the early response but it may not be the final response from Walmart to the El Paso attack.


The CEO of the company, Doug McMillon, sent a letter to Walmart associates saying in part:


"...We are a learning organization, and, as you can imagine the many important issues that arise....as well as those that have been raised in the broader national discussion around gun violence.   We will be thoughtful and deliberate in our responses, and we will act in a way that reflects the best ideals and values of our company, with a focus on serving the needs of our customers, associates and communities....."






A major power outage in the United Kingdom during the Friday rush hour.    Blackouts in various parts of England and Wales with perhaps a million people said to be affected.

The trains used by many commuters delayed and or cancelled.  Traffic lights stopped working as well.

The problem resolved later Friday evening with word that the failure of two power generators caused the outage.




Two more short range missiles fired by North Korea early Saturday morning local time landing in the Sea of Japan.



This is the fifth such test in recent weeks.




On North Korea President Trump telling the media Friday that he received a "beautiful letter" from that country's ruler Kim Jong-un and could be meeting with him again.


US officials point out that the recent short range missile tests from North Korea are not in violation of any understandings between the US and North Korea which apply to nuclear and long range missile testing.



THE HOUTHI REBELS IN YEMEN CLAIM TO HAVE LAUNCHED A PRECISION ROCKET ARTILLERY ATTACK ON A COMMAND AND CONTROL CENTER OF THE SAUDI BACKED FORCES.

THE HOUTHIS CLAIM A DIRECT HIT IN THE LATE FRIDAY NIGHT SINGLE SHELL ATTACK THAT CAUSED CASUALTIES AMONG THEIR ENEMIES.


In Syria six civilians wounded in a jihadist rocket attack on a government held section of  Aleppo Friday.     Latest reporting from pro-Assad government sources says the advance of the Syrian army has moved through northern Hama province and is now inside Idlib province.


But the Russian reconciliation center also reports a deadly attack that killed 10 Syrian soldiers Friday in what is called the "Idlib de-escalation zone".    More from Russia's Tass News Agency.....LINK



An explosion in Copenhagen Denmark outside a police station early Saturday.    No one injured but the building was damaged.

Earlier this week there was an explosion outside the tax agency building in the city.



A 23 YEAR OLD LAS VEGAS MAN, CONOR CLIMO, UNDER FEDERAL INDICTMENT FOR POSSESSING AN UNREGISTERED FIREARM SAID BY FEDERAL PROSECUTORS TO BE A COMPONENT FOR A DEVICE THAT WOULD CAUSE DESTRUCTION.



CLIMO IS SAID TO HAVE BEEN DISCUSSING AN ATTACK ON A SYNAGOGUE AND WAS CONDUCTING SURVEILLANCE ON AN BAR THAT CATERS TO AN LGBT CLIENTELE.

The Italian political crisis and word that the League party of Deputy Prime Minister Matteo Salvini wants to pursue a motion of no-confidence in the upper house of parliament for its current coalition government with the Five Star Movement.


The League wants the vote Monday but its up to the President of the Senate, a member of the mainstream Forza Italia Party, to call the body back into session during the summer recess.




"It won't take long"



That was Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's message in the manhunt for those responsible for killing an Israeli soldier.

Netanyahu posted a Facebook video Friday on the search for the killers of Dvir Sorek, murdered Wednesday night in the "West Bank".

The Israel Airports Authority says that disruptions of GPS signals in Israel's airspace have ended.


They were first noted in early June.


Israel Army Radio had reported that Russian operations in Syria were responsible for the disruptions but no official Israeli source publicly confirmed this.


The Russian ambassador in Israel called the report "fake news".



Another story from Yemen with the Houthi rebels say a brother of their leader,  Abdel Malek al-Houthi, was assassinated.

The Houthis, Shia Muslims backed by Iran, are fighting the Sunni Muslim government backed by a Saudi Arabian led military coalition in the country's civil war.


Typhoon Lekima weakened to a tropical storm early Saturday US time (5am) as it was centered southwest of Shanghai beginning to move over land completely.   Maximum sustained winds around 60 miles per hour.


The storm hit the east coast of China with maximum sustained winds of 125 miles per hour bringing high winds, heavy rain and flooding.



In Spain the Acting Prime Minister, Socialist Pedro Sanchez, continues his efforts to form a new government.     He has named the left-leaning Podemos party and Catalan and Basque nationalist groups as possible partners in a new government.

The elections in April resulted in a victory for the Socialists but they came up short of a majority in the 350 seat parliament.

Sanchez planning talks with the other political forces next month.

If Sanchez cannot form a new government by late September, a new election will be scheduled for November 10th.


President Trump indicating a big day for his re-election campaign via Twitter with 12 million dollars raised Friday.


The President holding fundraisers in the Hamptons, the elite area of New York's Long Island, where former President Bill Clinton among others raised big sums for political campaigns.


Russia's credit rating upgraded by one of the big three firms.    Fitch Ratings now considers Russia to have a BBB rating, making long-term investments in Russia "investment grade".     BBB is the fourth highest rating level.
